Church History

First Presbyterian Church, Natchitoches was founded in 1910 to serve the Presbyterian students attending what is now Northwestern State University.

The original church building was on the corner of 2nd and Demeziere streets.

In 1962, the congregation moved to its current location in east Natchitoches, and built a new education wing and kitchen in 1997.

Spiritual Community

FPC Natchitoches is proud to serve the local community through worship, programs, and facilities.

NSU students receive spiritual nourishment by worshiping God through their musical talents, the Lunch on Us program provides a free sack lunch to anyone in need every Wednesday, and our fellowship hall is used as a meeting place for local organizations and as a polling precinct for elections.
